The 2026 Summer Nutrition Summit
No Kid Hungry will host the third Summer Nutrition Summit on January 12-13, 2026 in Washington, D.C.
Join us to hear from unique and inspiring speakers from communities across the nation. Speakers will share their expertise on rural, non-congregate summer meals and Summer EBT. This event will engage participants in interactive sessions that explore the implementation, innovations, and future of summer nutrition programs. You will leave with new strategies, innovative tools, and an expanded network to help you reach more kids in your community next summer.
Program Overview
Attendees will participate in sessions of varying formats, including plenaries, partner-specific learning sessions, and networking opportunities.
A complete program agenda will be emailed to all registered attendees and posted on the here closer to the Summit date.
We partnered with the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) to co-host and design the summit’s Summer EBT sessions. APHSA is the national, bipartisan membership association representing state, county, and city human services agencies, including those that administer SNAP and Summer EBT.
Attendees
State, territory, and Tribal agency staff, sponsors operating rural, non-congregate summer meals, state, national, and community partners working on summer nutrition programs, corporate partners, program participants, and USDA staff are anticipated to attend.
This event is invite-only. Invitees will be notified via email.
A template justification letter is available for individuals needing administrative approval for travel.
