The 2026 Summer Nutrition Summit

No Kid Hungry hosted the third Summer Nutrition Summit on January 12-13, 2026 in Washington, D.C.

Participants heard from unique and inspiring speakers from communities across the nation. Speakers will share their expertise on rural, non-congregate summer meals and Summer EBT. This event engaged participants in interactive sessions that explored the implementation, innovations, and future of summer nutrition programs. Attendees left with new strategies, innovative tools, and an expanded network to help them reach more kids in their community next summer.

Program Overview

Attendees participated in sessions of varying formats, including plenaries, partner-specific learning sessions, and networking opportunities.

We partnered with the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) to co-host and design the summit’s Summer EBT sessions. APHSA is the national, bipartisan membership association representing state, county, and city human services agencies, including those that administer SNAP and Summer EBT.
