The Summer Nutrition Summit - December 2024
No Kid Hungry is hosting the second Summer Nutrition Summit on December 9-10th in Dallas, Texas.
The Summer Nutrition Summit will bring together an inspiring mix of speakers and participants, from state, territory, and tribal agency staff and summer meals sponsors to national partners and USDA staff. This dynamic event is an opportunity to engage in collaborative discussions, spark innovative ideas, and shape the future of summer nutrition programs. The summit will focus on the unique opportunities in rural, non-congregate summer meals and Summer EBT (SUN Bucks). Join us for a valuable experience where fresh ideas meet actionable solutions! The Summer Nutrition Summit is sponsored by the Walmart Foundation.
Registration
This event is invite only. Please check your email for an invitation and registration link. The priority registration deadline is Friday, November 1st. Due to limited space, be sure your spot by the priority deadline. Registration will close on Friday, November 15th. Travel support opportunities are available upon request. Travel support was made possible by the Walmart Foundation.
Hotel Information
The summit will be held at Hyatt Regency Dallas, in Dallas, Texas. Discounted guest rooms are available via this reservation link. Reservations must be made by Monday, November 18th.
Program Overview
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in sessions of varying formats, including plenaries, partner-specific learning sessions, office hours, and networking opportunities.
We’ve partnered with the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) to co-host and design the summit’s Summer EBT sessions. APHSA is the national, bipartisan membership association representing state, county, and city human services agencies, including those that administer SNAP and Summer EBT.

Attendees
State, territory, and tribal agency staff; sponsors operating rural, non-congregate summer meals; state, national, and community partners working on summer nutrition programs; and national and regional USDA staff will be in attendance.
The summit is invite-only. Invitations will be sent over email to selected participants.
