Nutrition in Housing Playbook

Share Our Strength and Mercy Housing partnered on ways to support residents with SNAP enrollment. As part of that effort, we have developed a Playbook designed to support Resident Services coordinators (RSC’s) in partnering with residents to access the food benefits they are eligible for through SNAP. The Playbook is meant to provide practical guidance, tools, and strategies to help coordinators connect residents to SNAP enrollment and re-enrollment support, reduce common barriers, and build trusted pathways to food resources within their communities. The guidance is based on the feedback of Resident Service Coordinators and informed by housing staff.
