No Kid Hungry Update White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition & Health

On Wednesday, September 28th, the White House is holding a Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health with a stated goal of releasing a national strategy to end hunger by 2030. Share Our Strength and its No Kid Hungry Campaign have been a part of the White House’s planning since the conference was announced earlier this year and have identified five timely, actionable policy changes that can immediately begin to improve nutrition access for families so every child can have a healthy start in life.

On Wednesday, September 7th at 1pm ET, two colleagues from our Center for Best Practices and Advocacy team hosted a webinar to provide more details about our policy recommendations and answered questions about the upcoming White House Conference. If you were unable to make it, please watch the video below.  If you have any questions about the policy recommendations or the White House Conference, please reach out to Carey Campbell, Associate Director of Advocacy at ccampbell@strength.org and Carolyn Vega, Associate Director of Policy Analysis at cvega@strength.org.
